职位描述
1. Accountabilities
? Responsible for the preparation, submission and management of the Sensory Budget (project OPEX) up to 100 kUSD)
? Support, influence and guide projects related to ABI 3 global brands, 5 focus brands, across 7 countries on the S&CS field. Permanently representing up to 25 projects to track.
? Give recommendation for advanced consumer testing method and fieldwork, involving budget up (project OPEX) to 200 kUSD per project
? Guarantee technical compliance of consumer tests regarding methodology, location and product;
? Setting strategy and developing an implementation plan for the area of responsibility;
? Participate as an active team member in the development of TD projects, ensuring the correct utilization of sensory analysis;
? Provide active support and/or involvement in brewing technology projects;
? Guarantee qualification and availability of tasting panels (internal and/or external);
? Define and validate sensory methodologies to be applied in development projects;
? To contribute as a team member towards the future strategic development and direction of Science & Technology Development.
? Co-ordinate a periodic follow-up for the competitor’s products in the market, data analysis and report main trends. Build needed internal partnerships to have the right resources regarding product analysis.
? Work in partnership with Marketing and TD to organize product tests with consumers, ensuring the accordance of the samples with the test design.
? Follow protocols & guidelines and all AB InBev standard procedures.
? Lead Competiveness & Renewal yearly worksessions and tracking in order to guide and influence global and key zone projects to secure product competitiveness and new product launch supported by the right insights.
2. Qualifications and Technical competencies required
Education
? University degree in Sensory Analysis, Food Science & Technology, Consumer Science, Brewing Science, Engineering, Chemistry , Statistics or equivalent.
? Additional technical & business oriented qualifications are an asset.
? University degree in with strong emphasis on Sensory and Consumer Science.
? Strong skills in applied statistical to S&CS (Design of experiment, Modelling, Multivariate analysis, sensory data processing) and/or psychology (Food perception, Memory test, Environment and Belief effect, Cognitive but non verbal or indirect measure).
? Fluency in English (written/spoken), other language skills constitute an additional asset.
? Specific stats software skills (Excel stats, SAS/ JUMP, Design Expert, Spad, R and SensoMineR)
Experience:
? CS & Sensory analysis back-ground with Experience in Sensory and Consumer research methodologies (min 3 years).
? Experience in the food and/or alcoholic beverage industry, Laboratory or brewing operations experience (min 3 years).
? Demonstrated leadership and ability to impact and influence to move things forward, while balancing differing ideas / agendas.
? Strong team player and targeted-oriented with respect for quality and timing.
? Ability to anticipate, support, drive and manage change, being open to innovation by generating new solutions and developing creative approaches.
? Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence people.
? Fluency in English. Additional / local languages are an asset.
? Experience in consumer insight role is an asset.
