Java/SOA Systems Architect

Responsibilities:

Architecture Design, implement applications for enterprise applications and services

Follow the company process and standard to complete the whole Software Development Lifecycle

Ensure the quality while the development progresses and in the final delivery

Work closely with bid team and other departments for proposals and the project pursing phase

Act as technical interface to the customer

Delivery interface to sales and business consultants

Requirements:

At least 7 years of hands on development and design experience in a java.

Quick learner in project and for new technology

Passion for J2EE and open source technologies

Rich java development experience either professionally or via open source contribution.

Skilled in J2SE, J2EE, EJB3, SSH, SOA and Design patterns

Knowledgeable: Websphere/Weblogic app server, Web/Data Caching, ESB, BPM, profiling, subversion, Junit, Maven, SourceForge, Java Open Source technologies

Background in SW project management

Demonstrated knowledge in software development methodologies

Experience in answering to technical sections of Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

Experience in working with subcontractors & offsite development staff highly desired

Experience in the automotive industry highly desired

Experience in Sales, Aftersales and Wholesale markets considered a plus

Bachelor or master degree in computer science or in an engineering discipline

Strong written, verbal and presentational skills

Fluent spoken and written English

Willingness to travel
