Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Maintains effective line of communication with Regional Manager and executes daily sales calls activities in accordance with account potential
- Conveys and explains company policies and procedures to all customers and prospects in a positive and constructive manner
- Develops an annual territory sales plan keyed to customers and driven by the sales and marketing plans that are to be accomplished. Participates in trade and professional associations to keep up-to-date on new developments
- Educates and informs customers and prospects of new products and programs
- Coordinates special engineering and management or marketing presentations and distributes flyers and reports or other printed materials
- Provides product training to customers and distributor
- Provides assistance and guidance to all distributors to maintain sufficient inventory of product to provide proper balance and depth and turns of the inventory
- Responsible for creating business alliances that result in significant sales in other territories
- Maintains key industry contacts, both technical and commercial, in a target market segment
- Increases the sales volume at select accounts with sale promotions and attendance at trade shows and local shows and by active follow-through on referrals
- Provides the basic data for management decision-making by filing reports of daily call activity, weekly plan sheets, expense reports and continual reports on competitive proposals, pricing and policy and new products
Experience and Training Required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical or business related field
- Minimum three years of re levant sales experience into Enterprise Sales with communication
Cabling and connectivi ty solutions company
