This position locate at Ezhou Economic Development Zone. We have shuttle bus take employees from Wuhan to Ezhou Economic Development Zone.

Job Description:

1.Initiate, design, develop, implement, maintain (hands-on) , and monitor existing and comprehensive EHS programs, procedures, policies, model programs that: a) assure compliance with current, emerging, and/or changing Federal, state, and local EHS regulations and b) support/align with Grace EHS Policies and EHS Management System. Develop and implement effective EHS risk and hazard management methods, designs, procedures, and programs.

2.Maintain technical and regulatory EHS expertise within Grace.

3.Ensure facility compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations. Assist Location’s administrative compliance efforts in the filing of required monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

4.Develop and deliver employee EHS training and training tools. Seek training programs for enhanced compliance and maximum training impact such as interactive internet based training.

5.Support the business in all aspects of business transactions (e.g. acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, etc). Supports due diligence activities. Supports EHS integration of new acquisitions.

6.Investigate environmental and work-related injuries/illnesses to identify causes and corrective/preventive actions. Track to closure all identified corrective and preventive actions.

7.Champion the safety process during the Ezhou plant site construction Assist in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet EHS requirements.

Skills and Abilities:

1.Bachelors of Science or equivalent in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or other EHS related discipline. If has a long history of experience in EHS field another degree could be considered.

2.National Certified Safety Engineer and/or Certified Environmental Engineer desired.

3.Professional safety and/or environmental certifications are desirable (e.g. CSP, OHST, CHMM, CSSE, CHCM, and/or others).

4.Minimum of 7 years experience in the Chemical or Specialty Materials, Manufacture industry leading and managing compliance and EHS management systems.

5.Ability to work with Business Management and technical professionals.

6.Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.

7.Experience in the planning, development, and implementation of EHS management systems and compliance programs.

8.Education and experience must clearly indicate the existence of specialized knowledge and successful track record in the design, implementation and monitoring of critical EHS programs including medical management, behavioral safety processes, facility auditing, emergency planning, incident investigation, employee safety committees, property conservation, hearing conservation, confined spaces, hazard communication, respiratory protection, ergonomics, industrial hygiene, electrical safety, lockout/tag out, driver safety, wastewater treatment, waste management and reporting, and general process chemical management.

9.Knowledge of provincial, state, and local EHS and transportation laws, regulations, rules and standards.

10.Experience with Workers Compensation (or equivalent) administration.

11.Ability to positively influence others in order to advance the best interests of Grace, internal EHS goals/targets, and EHS initiatives.

12.Excellent organizational and cross functional integration skills.

13.Self motivated; ability to make independent and informed, prioritized decisions.

14.Strong oral and written communications skills and the ability to work in both individual and team industrial work settings with minimum supervision. In Chinese and English language.

15.ISO9000, ISO14000, OHSAS18000 certification experience.
