Project Description: Upgrade of GTS-owned, hosted systems from Quick Start 5.5 and 5.6 to Quick Start 6.1 using the Rolling Upgrade (RU) process.

Applications: Maximo (SRM, CCMBD and TAMIT v7.2.x), SmartCloud Control Desk 7.5.1. Candidates should be experienced with the Maximo upgrade process, the DBC scripts and Java classes run during Maximo upgrades, Integrity checker, upgrade failures / troubleshooting, Migration Manager and the Maximo schema
Project dependencies: InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) v10.2 (specifically the Change Data Capture replication within IIDR), Quick Start source code (5.5, 5.6, 6.1), Quick Start installation process
Project Deliverables: Develop the CDC configuration objects needed during the RU process. This includes subscriptions, table mappings and user exits (SQL and Java stored procedures, Java classes). These will be developed after the DBC scripts and Java source code (run during the Maximo upgrade) as well as the Quick Start code are analyzed for data transformation operations (that are carried out during the Maximo upgrade and Quick Start installation processes).
Equipment: Workstation/Server/Phone: Several systems are required to house the source and target Maximo environments (WAS, DB2, Admin WS) as well as the CDC engines (source and target), Access Server and Management Console.These systems will be used for development and Unit testing.
