1.Annual Operating Plan Contribute to the development, implementation and follow-up of the annual Maintenance Plan with a view to achieving optimum results in terms of cost, product quality, product volume, cycle time and service, in line with the Business Unit Plan. 2.Maintenance Management Development, implementation and monitoring of maintenance guide-lines within the plant plans and initiation of process improvements in order to reduce the number of breakdowns, maximise machine service life and increase production efficiency, at minimum service cost. 3.Maintenance Continuously develop the maintenance plans of the attributed machines and equipment . 4.Ensure the execution of the maintenance plan: daily follow-up, control and steering of the maintenance activities, in quality and quantity. 5.Technical Expertise Responsible for the continuous development of technical expertise of the maintenance personnel. Technical support and backup for his maintenance department. 6.Project- and Change Management Act as project leader, or support of projects as a team-member for smaller and bigger projects on yearly basis. Cooperate with production and engineering to initiate, decide, execute machine-changes according to the production or maintenance needs. 7.People Management Manage his employees in respect to HR rules and in the perspective of developing expertise in the team which will generate added value to the company and development for the individuals. Guide, motivate and develop subordinated staff and ensure the implementation of Human Resources policies and practices within the area of responsibility in order to maximise the performance of the function. 8.HSE Responsible for Health, Safety and Environment in the attributed part of the maintenance Department. Member of the Technical Services “Trefpunt Welzijn” Responsible for the communication and monitoring of that safety policy in his team. The manager acts as a role model for his staff. 9.Maintenance Strategy Contribute to the definition and development of maintenance methods and strategy in line with the Business Unit Strategy, as a member of the maintenance management team
