Mission
The Driveability Calibration Specialist is responsible of the drivability calibration team.

He/She defines the planning of activities with his/her team and with the calibration leader of each engine project.
He/She guarantees the application of all the PSA standards for drivability calibration.
He/She gives the feedback to French specialists of the chinese market specificities/update of methodology possible/lesson learned.
He/She animates the drivability calibration team: defines the objectives, helps the team to solve technical problems, improves the knowledge of his/her team, plan the training and update the skill matrix.

He/She also performs tests on engine test bench and vehicules.
He/She also produces calibration parameter set with the associated documentation and validation reports.
Major Responsibilities
？ Define the planning of drivability activities for all the engine calibration projects done in SMTC.
？ Participates to all the calibration leader meetings to give the improvement on each project.
？ Report directly to the gasoline engine calibration manager for the activities of the drivability team.
？ Work with vehicle powertrain attributes team to define the target behaviour for the vehicle.
？ Perform test activity on engine test beds if needed, and on vehicules on track.
？ Perform extreme condition validation in cold and hot trips in addition to normal concitions.
？ Help the drivability team to analyse technical problems.
？ Perform all the vehicle prestations for driveability respecting the target of fuel consumption and performance.
？ Ensure that the team applies the latest standards for drivability calibration, and make evolution proposal of the standard if needed to improve cost or delay or take into account lesson learned or Chinese specificity
？ Participate to the drivability meetings with French experts to give a feedback of all the Chine market specificities.
？ Evaluate vehicle drivability compared with customers criteria.
