Business Description:
XXX Automotive Chongqing is the key important facility for XXX China Automotive Fuel & Release System China. It was established and launched the projects in May of 2013 and is growing fast from a Greenfield. It serves major local OEMs in Western, Central and Southwestern of China with plastic assemblies for Fuel components and Powertrain Components (planned in 2014) with 2017 projected revenues at US$ 40 million.
Position Summary:
Design Manager of XXX Auto Chongqing will report to Chongqing BUM and dotted report to Fuel China R&D manager and will be responsible for supporting business growth from technical side through leading design and engineering initiatives of local Chongqing for its special (OEMs in Western, Central and Southwestern of China) customer group in China market.
Responsibilities:
· Be responsible for leading and guiding Chongqing design team,
· Be responsible to cover Design Function in company mainly including D-FMEA (YC/YS), Series Product Design, Design Parts List, Design Review, CAE analysis, Prototyping,
· Be responsible to externally communicate with Customers and Suppliers in the domain of Engineering, and provide technical support among acquisition activities.
· Communicate regularly with the colleagues of XXX Fuel Shanghai U.S., Europe…on production design to get technical support from Headquarter and sister companies.
· Provide Internally Technical Support and Training of engineering knowledge among XXX Chongqing team.
· Be responsible for the preparation and implementation of Department Budget.
Position Skills and Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, Automobile and the relevant.
· Min 5-year experience in Design & CAE realm within in the automotive industry
· Solid knowledge and experience in Fuel system including the products fuel flap, fuel flap housing, capless (even) and the related applications.
· Knowledge on plastic molding
· Fluent use at least one of the 3 software of UG, Catia, and/or Pro-E
· Team player with strong communication skills, and have to be a team leader
· International mind set; English and Chinese bilingual is a must
