No. % Time Key Job Responsibilities

80% Maintain P&ID’s, Approves and controls mechanical isolation permits and restorations. Responsible for maintenance of equipment, production of information and Safety management. Assume primary responsibility for all work under the jurisdiction of the Permit Isolations and system handover distribution system. Be responsible to review, implement and continuous improvement of the operating instructions, and for the regular updating and reissuing of the distribution single line drawing showing current asset ownership. Be responsible for conducting Audits. Develop contingency measures for abnormal situations of the PTW Isolation system. Provide guidance for staff safety. Participates in the review and comment of Standard Operating Procedures.

15% Mentor successor development, technical training. Assess evaluation of staff and electrical operator annual evaluations.

5% Ensure adequate spares and critical equipment is available.


Scope Factors:
? Able to identify hazards and ensure that all conditions on a PTW are met – Permit coordinators will be acting FOD for permit issues, Trade leads will be responsible to ensure that techs have verified permit conditions are met and the permit can be issued.
? Be proficient, certified and licensed in their trade.
? Documented experience in performing and directing isolations in their trade.
? Manage and direct the Isolations for Permit to work prior to issue for the NGP and the sulfur plant.
? Maintain documentation pertaining to the mechanical/power system isolations.
? Provide leadership and decision making for their functional team regarding electrical or mechanical isolations and alterations.
? Ability to read and understand ESD’s and SLD’s, plot plans and P&ID’s as required.
? Direct the activities of the technicians in their group to include isolations, site verifications.
? Understand how SIMOPS are triggered, and what the requirements for SIMOPS to go forward are.


Educational Requirements: Undergraduate or higher,
Professional and Technical Title: Mechanical Technician and higher professional and technical title
Professional Background: Mechanical Engineering Power Distribution Systems.
Work Experience preferred: Seven years or more work experience on Gas production, technology and management of purification plant or sulfur equipment.
Comprehensive Quality: Excellent level in “moral character, ability, diligence, performance” evaluation; familiar with production procedures and advanced process technology; have rich experience on management; have good organization and command capacity.
