1.General Information
Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Department: China T/S Team
Position Reports to: Technical Manager, Hardware, East China
Location: Shanghai

2.Position Purpose:
To provide technical support to door hardware sales team to achieve sales goal, support Order Admin, Marketing & NPD team to perform part of customer service role, including project bidding assistance, after-sales service, order editing, jobsite installation instructing, trouble-shooting and project coordination.

3.Responsibilities:
1) Conduct door hardware projects job site supervision, mock-up execution, trouble-shooting and coordination meetings with contractors & door fabricator in door preparation and hardware installations works.
2) Assist tender document and provide technical support in Pre-sales, in-sales & after sales process.
3) In-charge of order editing job, support sales and order admin to complete purchase order in technical correctly.
4) Quality issues identification and improvement suggestion.
5) Conduct training & seminar for internal staff and external business partners to improve their technical competency.
6) Participate marketing research, survey & feedback, and support NPD process and development.

4.Qualifications:
1) At least 3 years experience in door hardware, door manufacturer or other building materials industry, prefer to after-sales service experience.
2) Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, electronic engineering or similar, knowledge of architectural hardware is an advantage.
3) Experience in construction project processes, and dealing with contractors, suppliers and logistics partners.
4) Good computer knowledge of Microsoft applications and Auto CAD.
5) Fluent mandarin. Intermediate to upper level written and spoken English skills is preferred.
6) Be a team player, flexible, able to adapt to multiple tasks, and coordinate smoothly with colleagues to achieve team goals.
7) Confident, healthy, open and reliable.
