General Summary Statement
- Reporting to the VP of Sales, the position will be responsible for achievement of company's business objective, people development of sales team, relationship management of business partners, business risk management and Marketing intelligence collection.
- This position will be based in Shanghai, China. Frequent travel within China will be required.
Key Duties
Business Objective
? To lead national sales team to achieve company's sales objective, either wholesale or retail.
? To participate in the business strategy setting and city & dealer development plan, and seek for all resource to ensure it can be well implemented.
? To allocate business objectives to regional managers, and support regional sales team to develop action plan by dealer by month.
? To support Sales & Marketing VP to develop reporting matrix, design working reports and management tools to manage the daily work of DAMs.
? To develop training courses & materials with training manager's support for DAMs and dealers at all levels.
? To work with marketing manager for new product design and launch.
? To lead team to launch new operation IT system regarding various business function, and provide sufficient training for Dealer F&I (Finance & Insurance) installation and maintenance.
? To find improvement area and develop corrective action plan with regional managers.
People Development
? To design the organization chart and local team structure, to find suitable candidates at all levels and continuously to enhance the competency of national sales team.
? To support DAM strategy development. To train and coach DAM team through various trainings based on Training Path.
? Continuously to develop capable local regional leadership team.
? To focus on the work quality, continuously to demand team delivering results.
? To manage the expense and business travel efficiency of sales Team.
? To enhance the team spirits and company culture.
Relationship Management
? To enhance the relationship and value proposition to brand partner and dealers.
? To attend brand partner and dealer's business meeting, share the valuable information regarding finance to improve business results.
? To manage the relationship with local Vehicle Regulation Bureau.
? To coordinate and monitor local outsourcing Service Agent.
? To coordinate the internal communication to achieve the common objective.
? To attend AFC meeting and learn updated industry information.
Risk Management
? To work with sales team to compile Dealer profile to facilitate credit review.
? To work with Risk Team to closely monitor dealer's risk, to protect FAFC's interests by dealer visit, financial analysis and information collection.
? To improve commercial risk management skills and savvy via internal training and self development.
? To identify and report dealership operating issues through dealer management by sales team.
? To support sales team to dispose the status dealer, and to standardize the process and legal documents for status dealer disposal.
? To support internal operation team for retail collection and repossession if needed.
? To learn national regulations, laws & rules of auto financing industry and share with sales team.
Requirements
- Hold a University Degree in Marketing, Finance or other relevant field (MBA is preferred)
- More than 8 years relevant working experience in finance or insurance institution
- Preferably have prior automotive financial services experience. If not available, the candidate should have a sales, marketing or operational background in a relevant industry.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
- Exhibits high levels of integrity, is self disciplined and proactive
- Ability to negotiate and influence
- Strong organizational skills (ability to prioritize assignments; ability to organize and run effective meetings)
- Creative and Strategic thinking with the ability to identify alternative solutions to issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills (Strong Chinese; English proficient)
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
