In the design center of SHANGHAI, PSA researches an EMC and HW engineer. Under the management of PSA Lead engineer, the engineer is in charge of:

- Make electronics HW technical review of all electronics components managed in Shanghai PSA site.
- Support electronics team for all electronics HW request.
- Define in the technical specification the list of EMC test which need to be performed.
- Validate the supplier validation plan, and test protocol.
- Validate the supplier validation report.
- Support the electronics team for all EMC test issue.


In order to accomplish all tasks, we require the engineer to have the skills and competences described as below:

1. KNOWLEDGE in AUTOMOBILE ELECTRONICS and ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
- Deep understanding regarding vehicle and component development planning. Ex: requirement and maturity level for different development stage.
- Good experiment in the product and process electronics development (components, design, layout, PCB, PCBA).
- Have a general knowledge of development and process quality norm (CMMI, SPICE, IPC610).
- Good experiment of the basic design electronics architecture (ECU, actuator and lighting driver, CAN/LIN/I2C HW network interface, display, sensor, etc …).
- EMC feasibility studies of new concepts of electric and electronic systems or sub-systems, such as hybrid of electric powertrains.
- Definition of the EMC requirements in the specification phase.
- EMC risk analysis during the design phase.
- Contributions to EMC validation plan and test plan.
- EMC technical support and recommendations throughout the different development phases of vehicle projects.
- Definition and the updating of internal vehicle EMC design rules.


2. EXPERIENCE in COMPONENT DEVELOPMENT
- A minimum of 3 years of engineering and/or PhD experience in the field of EMC design of electric / electronic equipment or systems for the automotive, railway, aeronautic or domestic appliance industries.
- Experience with EMC modeling and performing EMC simulations of printed circuit boards and systems.
- Experience reviewing hardware design schematics and PCB layouts.
- Experience in interpreting component level datasheet.
- Knowledge of problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Know compliancy product related to international safety and quality regulations (eg. ISO-11452, ISO-7637, ISO-14230…)
- Understanding of fundamental electromagnetic compatibility theory and application.
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical engineering, power electronics, electromagnetism and radio frequency, with numerical simulation and mathematical programming abilities.
- Experimental (test and measurement) skills.


3. LANGUAGE
- Fluency in spoken and written English /or French.
- Chinese: Good communication skills
4. Competencies:
This position requires synthesis skills, adaptability, rigor and autonomy.
This position required also an experiment of Supplier management.
