- Position Description (roles & responsibilities):
§ works very closely with the product manager (who is more sales and marketing oriented than a Technical Product Manager)
§ works more focused on R&D
§ has a good DCS domain knowledge
§ writes technical requirement specs for R&D
· hardware
· software
· 3rd party components (power supply, switches ...)
§ understands manufacturing processes allowing him to coordinate with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and feeder factories
§ supports project engineers in ordering and technical product questions (not technical or sales support)
§ takes care of publishing user documentation to the web
§ coordinates with R&D / Test when it comes to market introduction of a new product or version of it
§ is capable of speaking and writing almost fluent English

- Candidate requirement (academic, experience, skills, etc):
§ Grade in electrical engineering or process automation
§ 3+ years of professional experience
§ Must be a team player
§ Experience as field engineer or service engineer is appreciated
§ Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, water industries is appreciated
