Job Title: Marketing Manager East China
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Director
Location: Shanghai
Date: Jan 2013
Purpose of Position
· To develop and implement Strategic Plan to support sales to achieve sales targets in East China, Product and Sectors (customer), ensuring the drive toward developing new products and key markets is achieved effectively, on time and profitably.
· To work out integrated marketing plan to raise the company profile & support to drive up sales.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
· Deliver local marketing plan to ensuring the drive toward developing new products and key markets is achieved effectively, on time and profitably.
· Work out marketing plan to raise the company profile & support to drive up sales.
· Develop value propositions for all active products in East China and meet both revenue and marketing KPIs.
· Ownership of the control of expenditure for the National Marketing team
· Provide marketing tools and enablement to Sales team
· Identify and assess incremental growth ideas. Lead the development of the growth for the East China district
· Responsible for the identification and prioritization of sector development
· Make market analysis and compile "fact-base" including Total & Available Customer Spend; Competitive Analysis and Regulatory Analysis
· Harmonization of sales initiatives to optimize best practice across division
· Liaison with sales with particular regard to local / key account development
· Work with local regulators, government bodies or third parties to maintain good relationship.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
· 5+ years marketing experience preferably in a service industry.
· Bachelor degree in business or related major service industry
· An excellent leader stay focused on the agreed objectives
· Good communicator internally and externally at both management and operational levels
· Strong team player able to work with senior / peers / reports across a global network
· Highly numerate / analytical with ability to condense detailed / complex issues in a concise and digestible format
· Results orientated with a record to prove it and strong customer service / outlook ethic
· Articulate / persuasive in terms of delivery of concepts / ideas beyond the norm of conventional wisdom
· Strategic in terms of Vision and positioning new products/services in profitable segments
· Good planning and organization skills
· Good demand of spoken and written English
