Department: Account Services
Position Reports to: Account Director
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build and manage client relationships on many levels
· Understand client's objectives and goals and ensure available resources are devoted to clients
· Communicate key client information and direction to company on continuous basis
· Manage agency and client expectations to ensure alignment in work process and work deliverables
· Understand key operational functions and timing
· Ensure that work is delivered accurately and in line with client objectives
· Establish and achieve quarterly revenue and service goals
· Provide monthly progress reports and forecasts to Account Director
· Ensure that we have all necessary records of jobs to expedite billings and payment
· Formulate plans to extend business with established accounts
· Supervise and participate in new-business development
· Ensure agency engagement with the client in driving customer marketing planning
· Provide strategic direction to client relationships and customer marketing focus
· Provide and communicate key service principles
· Gain consistent client feedback through formal evaluations and respond appropriately
· Collectively develop tactical plans, review progress and drive accountability
· May directly manage Account Executives
Education Required/preferred:
· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field required
· Advance degree preferred
Experience Required/preferred:
· Minimum of 4 - 6 years of agency experience preferred
· Experience working in packaged goods in account-specific marketing preferred
· Experience and competence on shopper marketing and respective channels
· Experience leading and building team
Specific Skills & Abilities Required/Preferred:
· Ability to think/act cross functionally
· Strategic thinker
· Ideation
· Ability to evaluate WOM briefs WOM communication messages
· Ability to apply Customer/Shopper insights
· Competence in customer marketing with confidence and ability to clearly communicate
· Business Acumen
