China Web Cloud Account Manager (ASD/RSD)
Job description
? This Account manager role is responsible for storage business (ASD/RSD) for tier-1 Web Cloud customers in North or East China region. It required knowledge and expertise in SSD/Flash, SAS/SATA, and RAID, x 86 Server, storage, and database, distributed application areas for selling our Flash and SAS storage solution to those tier-1 Web Cloud customers like Tencent, Alibaba and Baidu. This role also required strong background and understanding in MDC (Mega Data center) server storage architecture, the key needs and trends in storage area for MDC, and also how to apply flash technologies into MDC to accelerate the storage performance.
? For all assigned customers and projects, this role is responsible for identifying new business opportunity, arrange the pre-sale supports, close the design win, drive the customer satisfactory, manage the customer relationship and eventually drive and grow the overall our sales revenue from the account. This role also needs to define sales plan, provide regular business updates/design win updates and revenue forecast, work with our product team and all functional team, to take the lead and be accountable in archiving design win target and sale revenue quota.
? This role required strong English communication capability, in both written and speak, to support the daily work with support team and product team.
? Other than to drive the direct sale with tier-1 Web Cloud customers, this account manager role also need to build up the relationship and engagement model, to influence customer's preference in storage technologies, partner with our OEMs to grow the business size, identify new business opportunity for our Flash/SAS storage solution.
Responsibilities
? Account Manger for tier-1 Web Cloud customers to take the sales responsibility for our Flash/SAS storage solution;
? Deliver the design win and revenue result;
? Work with sales manager to define and implement the sales plan;
? Work as a business development role to explorer the business model which can maximize our and our OEMs' business benefit;
? Manage the daily communication with customers and partner to drive the customer satisfactory;
? Support partner and internal team for the whole sales cycle, including order placing, delivery and RMA;
? Work with our FAE, SE and Product marketing team on product evaluation, design-in and after-sale service;
? Manage disti to provide accurate forecast and also drive the revenue goal on quarterly basis.
Requirements
? Strong background and understanding in Web Cloud customers;
? 7+ years working experience in IT server storage industry;
? 3+ years working experience in global company;
? Strong understanding in Flash storage solution and the industry trends;
? Strong English communication both in written and in verbal;
? Self motivated person with passion for success;
? Strong leadership skill to drive both internal and external to make things happen
? EE background.
