Job Content:
Key areas of accountability/responsibility
1. Delivers and improves the operational part of global end-2-end ICT Infrastructure services and improve the service operation for the whole, global business of DSM, that fulfills or exceeds the business and corporate requirements and service levels;
2. Responsible for service transition i.e. ensuring optimal change to the current IT services. Minimize impact on continuity, business operations, availability, while at the same time ensuring on-time delivery of quality changes;
3. Liaises between Managed Operations and Program or Project to ensure that DICT maintains a stable and flexible IT-infrastructure and IT infrastructure services;
4. Manages global change management, service validation and release management for GEMS services;
5. Manages the competences as resources manager and department manager;
6. Responsible for maintaining time and holiday schedules and training schedules;
7. Contributes to setting up a Business Case including the Managed Operations perspective;
8. Ensures delivery of Managed Operation (MO) acceptance criteria to be met by the Project;
9. Ensures the services and service levels delivered by DICT and suppliers can be met;
10. Sets up the services in a structured and controlled way making sure the ITIL principles (incident, problem- and change management, financial management, Security management, configuration management, portfolio & service management) can be followed;
11. Embeds the new or modified service into the existing Service Organization, with all applicable SLAs, OLA and underpinning contacts;
12. Prepares handover to Managed Operations by translating the upfront defined acceptance criteria into requirements for the project and ensures MO involvement in the project at the right time. Ensures a smooth transfer from project to MO leading to a maintainable service solution including all documentation to be maintained by MO according to their standards;
13. Ensures Managed Operations commitment for the new service (in terms of sufficient budget and project resources).
Requirements:
Master Degree (or equivalent experience);
Knowledge of the available DICT services;
General knowledge of DICT Technical Infrastructure;
Knowledge of the processes regarding delivery of contracted services;
ITIL Foundation (preferably ITIL Service Management) and knowledge / training of the DICT ISM processes;
Knowledge of the Service Management tool Remedy;
Project Management skills;
PMP;
ICT policies, strategies and standards;
Negotiation skills;
People management skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Managerial courses.
Experience or MA in ICT, Information Management or Business Administration > 6 years;
Experience working in complex IT environments > 3 years;
Thorough knowledge and experience in the field of Service Management > 4 years;
Thorough knowledge and experience in the field of Project Management > 4 years.
