Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work with Gorilla/EXG Division Engineering, Gorilla/EXG Glass Plants, other internal engineering and Characterization Sciences to develop, implement and migrate glass measurements and equipment for improve precision, accuracy and reliability for Gorilla/EXG Glasses as needed.
- Provide guidance/training to other personnel on how to perform testing properly.
- Use engineering principles and data to provide second level assistance to help solve operational issues related to glass technology and raw materials.
- Equipment issue treatment and troubleshooting.
- Support and approve experiments with raw materials and glass compositions.
- Raw material quality control& closely communication with worldwide team
- Measure raw material /glass sample for physical and chemistry data - Raw material / Cullet lot management and change
- Evaluate statistical control for composition measurements and associated need for batch adjustments
- Participate in daily batch calculations and batch release
- Recipe management and reduce glass composition variability
- Improve and maintain Lab system and equipment stability
- Co work with worldwide & tech engineering team for process improvement and trial , including EEP/ECN/PDC...
- Safety, 5S, PCPD
- GDE backup for routine measurement of chemical/physical property - GDE work arrangement and shift management.


Education & Experience
- Experiment / manufacturing/engineering environment experience
- 5+ years in lab field
- Bachelor or above degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Material discipline is prefer Required Skills
- Good English capability (verbal and written)
- Strong Office and PC operation skills Familiar SPC tool
- Experience with Six Sigma / DMAIC principles is prefer
- Strong communication and execution skills
- Knowledge of ISO management system & Quality assurance
- Knowledge of process data-drive, and root cause finding
- Continue improvement and active learning
- Key measurement equipment troubleshooting skill and management experience such as ICP/XRF/ICPMS.
- Lab management experiences is prefer
