Control Tower Logistics Specialist / 控制台物流专员
Main Responsibilities:
? Support the control tower set up processes in Asia to ensure effective management of PL CL, airfreight and FCL orders and shipments.
? Support Management to execute any operation and customer service initiatives/projects.
? Being an operational point of contact for the customers; provide high quality customer services to build close and trusted customer relationship.
? Perform necessary duties and carry out all operational activities to ensure the CT order execution processes are in compliance with the client's as well as the Company's guidelines and requirements, able to meet/exceed customer expectation, achieve overall operational efficiency and cost saving objectives.
? Closely monitor, liaise, follow up and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth order execution process:
- Proactive communication with all stakeholders (3PLs, suppliers, customers, internal counterparts, etc.);
- Receive orders from suppliers (accepting, guiding and combining transport orders and taking care of the administrative processing);
- Select carriers from a panel and get prices for transport service;
- Book transport (collection, pre-carriage, airfreight, sea-freight, rail), when required;
- Manage cross-dock operation (reception, sorting, storage, consolidation, expedition);
- Check invoices to ensure accurate billing; and
- Any changes and new directions.
? Ensure satisfactory order fulfilment. Carry out track & trace and update daily reporting on order execution status for the client in a timely manner.
? Attend regular calls with overseas offices and client to provide accurate and timely update on order/shipment status and any issues, when required.
? React quickly to delivery events & issues. Proactively identify any issues/risks, raise red flag and initiate necessary coordination for quick resolutions.
? To achieve best-in-class customer services. Actively build strong relationships with customers to meet their service needs.
Profile & Requirements
? College degree majoring in Supply Chain, Business Administration or English, or equivalent. ? Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain (forwarding, logistics) with strong MNC background.
? Experience in handling air, sea, road and / or express freight; experience with multiple modalities an advantage.
? Good command of written and verbal communication skills, both in English and local language.
? Familiar with logistics/operating system and tools. Prior experience in using Cargowise or similar system an advantage.
? Good PC Skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint Excel at Intermediate to advance level).
? Good time management skills; ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
? Goals driven, results oriented. A team player.
? Detail oriented and ability to organize large amounts of work and data.
? Positive mindset. Solution driven and excellent problem solving skills.
? Multi-tasking, independent with ability to work under high pressure.
