The job is responsible for the system level validation of a state-of-the-art SOC chip, from testplanning, to test and C library development, compiling and running tests in simulation or emulation, debugging, and post-silicon validation.

Duties will also involve mentoring and ramping up new engineers in the same discipline.

Knowledge and Experience Expected:

●      Can communicate effectively in written and spoken English

●      Strong in C programming, and scripting using Perl or Python or Makefile

●      ASIC architecture, specifications, and testplanning

●      Simulation or Emulation, and debug using trace log and waveform viewer

●      Error checking techniques

●      Bug tracking, and coverage assessment

●      Documentation and tracking for specs, plans, status and bugs

●      Random testing

Experience in the following areas is preferrable but not required:

●      Protocols such as PCIe, NVMe,, DDR, NAND flash, AXI

●      Experience with running tests on FPGA is helpful

●      Mentoring and coaching new or junior engineers for tools, architecture, tool flow and schedule
