Purpose

To grow Apollo global business of Manual Initiating Products, including manual call points (in Europe, Asia Pacific, etc,.) and pull stations (in America).

To grow Apollo local China business with Apollo fire alarm products.

To grow Apollo local China business with Halma fire safety products.

Main Responsibilities

1. Analyse the market and competition with a view to ensure product leadership.

2. Meet with stakeholders for discussions about new products and innovations. Make regular visits to partners and audiences to understand their respective strategies and ensure alignment.

3. Propose and implement business strategies for products - strategic aims, vision and market ambition.

4. Propose product roadmap – identifying trends and opportunities for Apollo in the future.

5. Propose revenue targets and profit margins and ensure cost base targets are not exceeded. Secure long-term profitable growth and the achievement of revenue and profit. Propose annual pricing reviews and conduct continuous margin analysis.

6. Review and evaluate existing product portfolio with respect to Apollo market segments, audiences and verticals.

7. Identify, justify and define new product opportunities. Propose ideas for development that fit within the business strategy.

8. Full end to end product ownership through the entire product lifecycle.

Job Qualifications

1. 5+ years’ experience in product management at MNCs.

2. Overseas experience is a big plus.

3. Fire detection experience is a big plus.

4. Strong technical background.

5. Excellent financial, analytical skills.

6. Communication and influencing skills. Communicate effectively at all levels.

7. Communicate and travel globally.

8. Fluent in both English and Mandarin.

9. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, MBA is a plus.
