工作职责:

Job Overview:

As a Sales Engineer, Technical your challenge is to identify customer values in earliest possible sales phase and to translate this into a winning technical solution/concept with the right balance between technology and a competitive price. The department is now working on a few projects in Asia and focusses on the development of the Warehouse and Parcel Department segment in the APAC region (Asia Pacific region).

Job de"script"ion:

1) Documentation

The Sales Engineer, Technical shall combine all available documentation such as tender input documents, prequalification documents, building interfaces, technical information for consultants, presentations, project management de"script"ions, etc. You support the bid manager with this necessary documentation and keep it up-to-date.

2) Pricing

The Sales Engineer, Technical shall support the bid manager with:

? Filling costing information,

? Calculating standard LLC and HLC

? Adding costs for EM based on our standards

? Adding costs for power (conform tender)

? Adding costs for steel confirm basic calculation rules

? Asking quotes from shipping, adding costs accordingly

The Sales Engineer, Technical delivers a first set-up of the pricing information to the bid manager and does further refining towards the final pricing information based on input from the bid manager.

3) Compliance matrix

The Sales Engineer, Technical shall put every sentence of the tender in a separate row of the compliance matrix. Compliance checks will be done both on functional/performance level, as well as on detail level. The compliance matrix is the basis for analysing the entire tender, including legal requirements. The Sales Engineer, Technical includes the comparison and analysis of tender requirements for mechanical, electromechanical, LLC, software, etc. against our internal standards. The Sales Engineer, Technical shall consult with specialists in the headquarters and do the compliance check for each tender we decide to bid for. Once the initial round of checks has been completed and added to the compliance matrix, the bid manager receives the compliance matrix and decides for further actions.

4) Bill of quantity (BOQ) split up in accordance with tender including calculation of unit rates.

5) Preparing the basic quote, after which the bid manager does further refining.

6) Ability to challenge, and change, pre-designs to fit our company standards

7) Find future proof solutions together with our customers.

任职资格:

Job Requirements

? Bachelor in Engineering or any related field

? Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives

? Solid technical background for warehouse and parcel

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Willingness to travel

? Proven track record in material handling systems strongly preferred.

? Proven track record with customer interaction by the means of presenting, workshops etc. will be an advantage
