职位描述
JOB SUMMARY
Primary responsibilities including HW Design, Board level Development/Bring-up and verification, development of multi-layer PCBA boards with embedded processors, Work closely with other team members, includes PM, HW, ME, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Quality Assurance departments to drive successful project
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prototype bring-up & assist EVT & DVT builds for design related issues
· boards level debug and root cause analysis, executing board level HW testing and system performance testing based on the specification ,System validation as well as SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity & Timing) measurements
· Create BOM & AVL, assist SCM people to pick strategic vendors & parts to meet design goals
· Support factory for series production and prototype build, Provide onsite technical support for all manufacturing builds including NPI & production releases
· New vendor qualification, and Design related issues found in Manufacturing or Field
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 7+ years related experience in Ethernet equipment (pizza box/chassis) hardware development, Experience in industry Ethernet product will be a plus
· Bachelor degree or above and major in communication/Electronics engineering, computer science or equivalent
· Proficient in HW design, schematics, high speed PCB layout, Power/Clock and related experience
· Proficient in design tools of Altium, OrCAD, PADS, Cadence, experience of schematics/layout design
· Hands-on experience with Broadcom(DNX/XGS/Robo), Marvell, Microsemi chipsets
· Hands-on experience with embedded system design (MCU, ARM, MIPS, PowerPC or x86)
· Hands-on experience with VHDL/Verilog development, Familiar with Lattice/Altera/Xilinx solution
· Experience of EMC, safety, Physical Environment, Power supply industry standards
· Experience in product testing, certification, skilled use of logic analyzers, high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and traffic generators, etc.
· Well known system product development process and experience on working with cross function team
· Good system and hardware debugging and problem-solving skills
· Fluent in English/Chinese speaking
· Good Initiative and positive personal personality , Self-motivation
· Pluses:
- Experience in design diagnostic firmware is a plus
- Knowledge of RF, Regulatory, OFDM, MIMO is an asset
