1.  Purpose of Position

• The role will take reasonable in Low voltage system 1st level troubleshooting such as motor control unit…, maintenance (PM/PDM etc.) and Facility control system maintenance (AB PLC / iFix SCADA). Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating products and instruments are required in Facility low voltage and control system. writing reports, documentation, analysing and interpreting data

·       To solve difficult technical, engineering related problems and decreased costs with most cost-effective solutions.

·       Provides subject matter expertise in control and meters aspect and drive to fundamental process understanding, have strong data collect and analysis ability.

·       Supports or leads continuous improvement activities and cost reduction projects.

·       Understands Corning’s Intellectual property and Safety management processes and follows that process during perform day-to-day duty.

·       Insure Facility system reliably supply in short and long term

2.     Major Responsibilities / Ongoing Tasks

·       Provide higher level troubleshooting, to ensure timely solutions of system or equipment issues

·       Provide professional engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of root cause analysis, and put permanent solutions in place.

·       To report out the issues with professional data analysis and clear logical process.

·       Identifies, justifies, and implements cost reduction and capacity enhancement improvement projects

• Promotes positive relationships and communicates effectively and courteously with coworkers, and outside plant associates are meet all SHE requirements
• Supervise Facility FMCS system which including PLC, HMI, SCADA and database system management.

·       Design, install, debug and or specifies new system or modifies existing system to continuously improve system reliability and decreased maintenance cost.

• Define maintenance and operations strategy for emergency generator, oil/dry type transformer, LV, ACB and power distribution system.
• Support operation team trouble shooting and provide training as needed.

·       To have clear process understanding of the Facility systems

·       To have working knowledge of mechanical systems related to all facilities equipment within the Plant.

·       Meet Facility department requirement and conduct rigorous change control and clear communication with all.

·       To establish and update system SOS/Base Case/PM/ER SOP as needed and insure all SOP were performed by technicians.

·       To assist with cross function for some issues related to facilities.

·       To ensure system and control system drawings are archived properly within the plant

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment to include: operating adjustments and calibrations on equipment, basic mechanical and electrical work and cleaning, lubricating and replacing equipment parts

Education & Experience  

·       Education Level Required (Degree and Discipline)

Bachelor of Science and engineering (Electrical or automatic control engineering)

·       Experience (Type and Amount)

-           Previous International Assignment

-           3~5 Years working with field devices, HMI, iFix SCADA and Controls Platforms

-           3~5 years of experience in the facility low voltage and control system

-           High/Low voltage operating license (高压电工作业,低压电工作业)

Knowledge (Knowledge of Statistics, KT, iDMAiC, LEAN, etc ):

Skills (Computer skill, project management skill…..etc.) 

-           Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc)

-           Knowledge and understanding of the major facility systems

-           Effective Leadership in a multi-cultural team.

-           Project Management and Organization

-           Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in multiple locations as necessary

-           Experienced PLC Programming / SCADA (iFix) programming and FMCS system integration

-           Knowledgeable of low voltage system structure and maintenance (380V)

-           Knowledge of VBA

-           Familiar with the practice of equipment develop, design, select, purchase, start-up and debug

-           Strong Team Working skills including working well with other disciplines (process, mechanical engineering) and providing/receiving direction

-           Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English

-           Ability to plan upfront, communicates issues, and executes solutions quickly and efficiently.

-           Ability to work in a diverse and rapidly changing environment
