R&R for the position:

· To lead safety related activities on safety critical systems and ensure products, processes and work products are ISO26262 compliant;

· Cooperate with the customers’ safety organizations as well as company engineers and managers to ensure the design covers all required safety aspects and the functional safety process is executed and documented;

· Specific work products include the Safety Plan, Safety Concepts and Requirements, Safety Analysis, Safety Verification and Validation activities;

· Analyze impact of ISO26262 releases for company Electronics and create Functional Safety awareness across department;

· Perform safety management activities for Electronics projects according to relevant standards during all project phases (concept, product development, production) including preliminary hazard analysis, DFMEA, FMEDA, qualitative and quantitative fault tree analysis;

· Develop safety architectures and safety plans to ensure compliance with ISO26262;

· Lead and coordinate creation of functional safety documentation according ISO26262;

· Participate to CI initiatives related to the safety process or tools deployment;

· Collaborate with project managers, SW Architects, platforms, development team and customers on Functional Safety;

· Conduct reviews and audits with product teams to ensure functional safety standards are being met throughout product development cycles;

· Support teams with legal compliance elicitation and legal / safety problem solving;

Education:

Degree or Master Degree in Engineering (EEE/ECE/E&I/CS)

Required Skills and Experience:

· 3+ years of experience in the automotive domain and should be working as Software Project Manager, Architect or System Engineer for at least 2 years;

· Have experience or ability to plan and deliver effective training;

· Expertise in embedded System architectures, have experience in Multiple Software Domains is plus;

· Familiar with product knowledge, have product development experience is plus;

· Be good at systems thinking and business acumen, have safety mindset;

· Good technical leadership, planning and organization skills;

· Strong analytic and problem-solving skills;

· Strong cross cultural sensitivity & experience is plus;

· Have experience in Safety Process is a plus.

Language:

· Fluent in both verbal and written in English.
