MAIN FUNCTIONS

- Analysis product trends and reports by Revenue, Profit, Quantity, Region, Overall, along with market penetration levels and size

- Develop Business Plan for product lines including Strategic Goals & Objectives / Critical Success factors / Tactical Plans

- Manage and maintain market pricing strategies and guidelines

- Periodic travel with Sales representative to assist in customer meetings.

- Assist R&D in product development, reviewing specifications

- Assist R&D in Optical specification review, DVT, Test campaign selection

- Assist R&D in selection of optical components for new design.

- Develop product presentation for customer presentation and internal reviews.

- Support or directly provide pre-sales activities including customer offers.

- Participate in applicable industry organizations and groups related to product their respective product lines

- Develop and maintain a detailed Product Portfolio and Catalogue defining pricing and managing costs.

- Develop and update all product Literature and information (Datasheets, Brochures)

- Collect and document competitive market intelligence.

- Technical Papers / White papers / Bulletins (Core Products)

- Develop ad and promotional content

- Assist Marketing in the creation of Trade Show displays, Banners, Press releases

- Collaborate with marketing departments to formulate strategic marketing plan while working with the marketing department to develop national marketing plan.

- Develop product presentation, to be utilized at distributors and engineers as a platform for selling product lines

REQUESTED SKILLS AND EDUCATIONS

- Fluent English

- Experience on Optical Transceiver sector

- Experience on Optical Transceivers

- Experience on Passive Optical products (WDM)

- Knowledge of WDM technology

- Experience on Silicon Photonics (appreciated)

- High teamwork spirit (team is spread around the globe)

- Focus on results

- Proactive approach to problems.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to present to an audience large and small

- Attitude to conduct hands on training and demonstration of products
