Key Responsibilities:    

• To provide engineering and technical support for the APAC sales team
• To work with US Engineering & Operations to locally source selected products in-region
• To facilitate the quoting of Alpha Custom Cables
• To do pre-sales work, marketing research, write up development plan, etc.
• Be able to visit customers, bring in current market information & customer information back to sales team, create customer files.
• To assist the sales team to mobilize internal resources,run and manage the projects with aggressive schedules in order to provide professional and efficient technical support.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for resolution of product related problems. Troubleshoot, research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues.
• To be able to do regular technical presentation and products training for customers and sales team.
• Provides response to requests for technical data, application data, test data and field complaints

    

Qualifications:    

• Bachelor Degree in engineering discipline is preferred. Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Computing or Automation.
• Minimum 5 years technical support experience, manufacturing experience in cable industrial will be preferred.
• Fluent English in speaking, writing, and reading English technical documents.
• Comfortable with communication/engagement with customers and partners
• Ability to get in details, and solve problems, result oriented
• Initiative, self-motivated, independently, willing to take challenge and work under pressure
• Organizational leadership skills: aggressive in achieving results, while collaborating and communicating effectively with other members of the team and partners
• Mature personality, flexible, adaptable for frequent business trip.
