This is a Technical Engineer role, reporting to the Department Manager in Business Area – Robotics and Discrete Automation located in Shanghai, China.

- Serving as a key technical engineer to provide technical support for Industrial robot assembly and system testing and doing quality improvement from mechanical side.
- Resolving and improving customer issues.
- Providing strong support for Industrial robot control cabinet production to solve various technical issues related to assembly and system test.
- Supporting SCM to solve technical issues related to material sourcing and material quality.
- Doing technical support activity for quality improvement from mechanical side.
- Doing technical communication with China and Sweden R&D team.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- A bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering.
- Must have more than 8 years of experience in the machinery industry with multinational experience.
- Must have experience in handling customer issues, precision machinery, mechanical design and based on the input information to update the drawings and maintenance BOM.
- Good to have experience in machinery manufacturing, independent analysis, project management, industrial robot systems and problem solving from production assembly.
- Good knowledge in SAP system, AutoCAD, Solidworks and other application software.
- Fluency in English both speaking and writing, with CET-4 or above.
- Must possess good communication skills, coordination skills, coordination skills and must be a good team player.
