You will supervise a team of Service Engineers and Service Technicians and contribute to the execution of the Service strategy and Service growth by focusing on delivering timely, high-quality, cost effective service offerings, solutions and projects (e.g. field service, repair) for customers. Drive Service achievements through effective planning and allocation of resources in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.

This is a Service Team Leader role, reporting to Service & Digital Platform Manager in Business Area – Robotics & Discrete Automation, Service & Digital Platform located in Shanghai, China.

- Ensuring planning and execution of various Service activities carried out both off and on site, driving and monitoring Service execution with respect to the agreed terms of schedule, quality, cost, margin, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring the continuous improvement on the customer satisfaction by improving the competence of field service team and effective/efficient execution.
- Allocating, driving and monitoring work to projects based on order content, delivery time, competencies and workload, effectively utilizing available resources through proper planning and scheduling to meet delivery targets (e.g. OTD, response time, ordered service offerings, update of installed based data).
- Ensuring work assignments are accurately classified as warrantee or non-warrantee status, ensuring that materials and components to feed Service delivery are provided optimizing cost, stock and timing.
- Driving continuous productivity improvement activities by optimizing the service process & in FS team, utilizing and implementing efficient tools (e.g. Mobile Service Assist (MSA)) to streamline Service processes and applications to support the customer, ensuring the transfer of Service findings to the product/system local units for improvement of their offerings.
- Ensuring compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives, and ensures instructions and regulations are implemented well within the team (including subcontractors), while monitoring and reporting progress and results, assessing risks and safety hazards and implementing actions to ensure people and equipment safety.
- Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, resourced and supervised, ensuring all Field Service team members are certified in line with global certification and local regulations, reviewing competence levels to ensure each Service Engineer (including subcontractors) is appropriately qualified to handle jobs assigned to them.

- Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in automation industry area.
- Should be open to learn and open to change, demonstrate the willingness to walk out from its comfortable zone.
- Should exhibit strong accountability and be self-driven with strong capability to deliver projects.
- Must have customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese
