职位描述
Responsibilities:
1. Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and financial assistance, as appropriate.
2. Designs and implements recruitment programs for targeted groups of potential students, and develops strategies for program evaluation.
3. Explores part-time mode market, speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school officials to develop partnerships between the University and other institutions; coordinates community workshops, retreats, and on-site admissions programs.
4. Contributes to the institutional database of prospective/potential and current students.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree preferred; at least 3 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
2. Knowledge of the broad spectrum of available academic units, curricula, and programs.
3. Knowledge of university admissions policies, standards, and procedures is a plus.
4. Skills in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
5. Skills in the use of computerized systems and databases. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
7. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals.
8. Mature interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
9. Willing to travel on occasion.
