职位描述
I. Purpose of Position
To work with both internal and external team to develop and expand the direct business (Fashion, Home + Interiors and PCI) in the APAC region.
Build relationships with direct Key Account customers, channel partners and X-Rite colleagues when relevant to grow the overall Key account business on a global basis.
Fashion merchandising or product development experience from design to production
Strong network in Fashion, Home + Interiors market segment in APAC, covering local brands and retailers, local offices of global brands, and supply chain providers
Act as moderator and facilitator in the pitching, framing and closing of PCI consulting and custom color projects.
Act as bridge between PCI color team and customer for project delivery.
II. Key Responsibilities
Drive sales and share gain by securing usage and supply chain specification of Pantone FHI color systems and tools with local brands and local offices of global brands
Engage with supply chain providers in securing brand compliance and further own adoption of Pantone FHI color system and tools
Possess a strong understanding of the unique market needs, constantly absorbing market intelligence and voice of customers, knowledgeable of latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors.
Demonstrates strong business acumen, knows the competition in the industry and positioning, current practices, anticipate emerging future trends and consequences.
Translate and evaluate voice of customers into business priorities to high value commercially viable solutions.
Maintain and expand relationships with current Key Account customers; and identify and penetrate new prospects in both FHI and PCI market segment
Work as a team member in the Global Key Account Management Team
Work with channel partners to ensure seamless co-ordination for the expansion of FHI business in APAC
Maintains active dialogue with X-Rite colleagues on identifying joint sales opportunity. Active collaboration on identified joint projects
Establishes and grows effective networks through partner or directly with appropriate trend houses and associations.
Coordination with various departments both internal and external such as finance, legal, marketing and color team for smooth project delivery.
Close monitor on progress of the project in accordance to commitment in agreement.
Has potential to become a local PCI consultant
III. Background and Skill
University degree in Fashion or Textiles related discipline
5 years + proven track record in Fashion merchandising, product development or retail, with robust knowledge of color.
Strong proficiency in verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese (Putonghua).
Sales experience with strong funnel management expertise and a proven track record of sales target attainment
Preferred: technical color management expertise in textile applications (spectrophotometry, spectral data, formulation and QC software)
Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
Process technical knowledge to understand the workflow in Fashion, Home and Interiors product development
Knowledge in design and collection creation is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Has experience and feels comfortable presenting materials and interacting with small, medium and large audiences
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Deals with complex concepts comfortably and effectively copes with change.
Willing to travel – 50% of time
