Job Requirements：

1、Native speaker of English.

2、Bachelor's degree holder; master's or higher-level degree holders are preferred.

3、Proficient in Chinese-to-English translation and linguistic quality-assurance; candidates with 3 years' full-time working experience in the field of translation or localization are preferred.

4、Very good at CAT tools, such as Trados 2007, SDLX, SDL Trados Studio 2011, etc.

5、Good team player with excellent learning skills and outstanding communication skills; able to communicate effectively with other colleagues, such as PMs, sales, and localization engineers.

6、A motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities：

1、Uses computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools to translate documents from Chinese-to-English or vice versa or polish such translation deliverables to ensure that all documents delivered to our clients are accurate, clear, concise, and native.

2、Acts as a linguistic and quality-assurance expert to ensure the quality of outsourced translation and localization deliverables according to project requirements and style guides.

3、Manages workload properly and delivers all projects in a timely manner.

4、Communicates with project managers effectively to ensure that all projects are done according to the requirements of our clients.

5、Creates and maintains terminology and translation memory databases.

6、Acts as a project owner to ensure consistency of deliverables that involve the efforts of multiple linguists.

7、Attends or holds training sessions to share project experience, translation/editing skills, or other business-related knowledge with team members.

8、Reports to the Linguistic Manager.
