KEY SERVICES:
Responsible for planning and supply of materials to fulfill the production plan whilst minimizing the Materials inventory level
Communicate with Production Planning team for the change of the production forecast, to adjust the material planning and ordering;
Control RM inventory by planning parameter optimization, effective RM pipeline management;
Review the MRP information to verify the buying decision, and provide the options for Management Team decision making;
To ensure the performance of suppliers follow the agreement and meet Delphi's specific requirements.
Supplier follow up and materials procurement
Documentation all the related paper in case of supplier failure; Issue PRR to supplier delivery failure; Closely follow up PRR for cost covey.
Pass Internal delivery complain to purchase
Monthly delivery failure report
Premium cost control
Documentation the production interruption due to the suppliers failure
Make sure the specific transportation form is issued when it's needed
before it is conducted; (For example,"PFA"for air freight)
All the related documents must be controlled properly by supervisor
Engineer Change/New Project Support:
On-time PC&L information input for ECN process: ECN effective date proposal, premium, E&O etc.
Keep close to any open ECN and make sure the related persons are updated;
Materials shortage Alarm, eliminate up-planned production interruption
When get material shortage alarm; communicate with all relevant Department/Team (IE/PE/Quality, Production Planning, Im. & Ex. Etc.) to prioritize the activities.
Forwarders' (AEI, APL, etc) Co-ordination
Collect sufficient information to criticize forwarders for their failure in material picking up and order activities in consolidation center; Support
Import/Export team to issue & follow up PRR to forwarders
Co-ordinate with forwarders and suppliers for claiming the charge of their failures.
The jobholder will take an important role in the implementation and maintenance of production elements.


QUALIFICATION:
1. Education Background
University (Bachelor) graduate or above
2.Skills and knowledge
a. Good command in both written & spoken English
b. Practiced PC skill especially Excel or database skill
c. Sound MPR II logic understanding & ERP knowledge
d. Well-experienced at material planning
e. Supervision skills, communication skills, negotiation skill, problem solving skills, team work are MUST
3. Working Experience
At least two years management experiences which under pressure in the relevant area.
