Key Responsibilities:

? Designs architecture for Ford Credit applications by interfacing with Product Owners and Product Teams to define, assemble and integrate components based on Ford standards and business requirements

? Works with project teams to analyze and translate desired business capabilities into solution concepts and models to deliver business value.

? Creates or supports the creation of artifacts and models for a well-defined project with limited scope ensuring compliance to architecture standards.

? Drives alignment between specific architecture projects and related IT projects and plans, by working with appropriate IT and business team members.

? Understands and evaluates digital technologies and the infrastructure (Synergy, VM architectures), work closely with Infrastructure architects and engineering teams to arrive buildable architecture

? Defines nonfunctional requirements and size the infrastructure architecture

? Conducts architecture related research as directed by management to better understand architecture for a specific domain.

? Participates in technology proof of concepts and ensure alignment with all architecture disciplines

? Evaluates and/or builds innovations and/or prototypes based on research.

? Provides support to teams to analyze and identify issues when the architecture does not meet requirements (e.g. performance, scalability, data design, integration testing, audit compliance, information failure mode analysis).

? Represents the application by participating in architectural governance process (Enterprise Architecture Assurance), HIR (Hosting Infrastructure Review), SOR (Service Opportunity Review)

? Prepares technical presentations and present to IT management / project teams

? Collaborates with others to develop and maintain current and future state architecture standards, guidelines, blueprints and roadmaps.

? Engages w/ 3rd-party, external vendors to identify and agree on integrations that will support both data and functionality requirements for a seamless user experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field. BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc.

Qualifications / Key Experiences:

The following skills and experiences are required qualifications for this role with overall 8+ years of experience.

Basic qualifications:

? Progressive responsibilities in IT

? Major design contributions to at least one large-scale applications/analytics, Cloud-Native, Connected Vehicle and/or Internet of Things (IoT) IT projects.

? Application / system development lifecycle knowledge including design, development and integration experience

? Awareness of multiple technologies and patterns, including: cloud hosting, APIs/micro services and interaction with on-prem databases.

? Ability to understand and combine business intention, technical details, performance considerations and security requirements

? Awareness of interoperability standards, methods and the myriad of ways to exchange data effectively and securely

? Knowledge of frameworks, architecture patterns and design patterns

? Awareness of web services methods and implementation technologies in distributed architecture deployments

? Self-starter, ability to work independently but still can work within group to deliver top notch solutions

? Self-researcher, ability to research a technology and provide insight to project team

? Strong communication skills both verbal and written

? Agile software delivery experience

? Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

? Experience implementing or supporting mobile applications and protocols

? Experience architecting and designing public facing solutions

? Experience with J2EE technologies, Rest Web Services, Mobile development technologies, Spring Frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Integration, MVC and Spring Cloud Services) and Messaging architectures

? Familiarity with Git or equivalent source control repositories and build tools like

GRADLE

? Applying Cloud Foundry architectures (e.g. Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry)

? Understanding of highly available scalable global architectures
