The Role

1. Working with business team to provide legal advice to supported functions as a business development;

2. Attending meetings to support business;

3. Keeping up to date on legal developments that may affect business to sustain knowledge, and providing training to improve legal awareness of the organization.

4. Assist in managing clients, exploring and developing new business;

5. Assisting to provide result oriented service on legal, and other matters;

6. Provide support to legal affairs and law firm communication in translating, drafting, and reviewing a variety of legal documents (including legal opinion, research report, new media presentation, contracts, etc.);

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor of law degrees or above with excellent research and analytical skills;

2. Be fluent/native in English and Mandarin Chinese on a business communications spoken and written level. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written with excellent telephone manner). Language skills are essential requirements for the position;

3. Minimum 5 year post qualification experience in a law firm and a Chinese lawyer qualification;

4. Effectively communicate and build relationships with clients at Chinese and Multi-National Corporations (Focus should be at foreign firms);

5. Exposure to corporate and business law, compliance, international business, IP law matters would be a plus;

6. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;

7. Handle sensitive information;

8. Highly self-disciplined staff

9. Team worker.
