职位描述
?This product focused position verifies andvalidates the functionality of Cummins’ products across a wide range ofcustomer requirements, across a variety of applications, in various environments. This work plans, tracks, and evaluates results from a wide range of analysesand functional tests to assess product risk and performance. These results areexpected to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues beforethe product reaches the customer.
?Obtains input and negotiates with DesignVerification Plan and Report (DVP&R) stakeholders to define technicalrequirements and delivers an optimized subsystem-based analytical andexperimental verification plan to the program or project team.
?Makes decisions in the areas of verificationand validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.
?Investigates and addresses potential systemconcerns or issues, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriateaction, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from moreexperienced team members.
?Applies and improves processes such astechnical requirements, iDFMEA, Engineering Standard Work (ESW), DVP&Roptimization, test standards, and problem solving and tools such as Integrity,Microsoft Power BI, and McParts required to support the processes and enablehigh quality decision making.
?Provides independent leadership of smallerbusiness impact projects or ownership of complex components, products, systemsor services with greater elements of ambiguity over the senior or lead engineerlevel and with full accountability to the project team.
?Delivers independent execution of establishedand emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology orproduct knowledge.
?Leads the development and improvement of workprocesses and systems across a functional discipline area within a businessunit site.
?Coordinates and directs work amongsttechnicians and temporary student employees, assists in the transfer ofknowledge to lesser experienced engineers through either indirect (scope ofinfluence) or direct management of a small, local group of engineers.
Provides support and guidance to influence technical direction within a projectteam and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical tosuccess in the role.
?Operates as a recognized specialist in adiscipline or product area within the immediate team.
Responsiblefor fuel cell products design validation, cooperate with product development topropose test requirements, participate fuel cell system DFEMA define,understand the design process of fuel cell system, deliver DVP accordingfailure mode to ensure that the product is effectively verified;
Developtest specification of fuel cell system, stack and BOP performance validation,coordinate test bench build, responsible for bench operation and test scriptdefine, deliver test data and report;
Responsiblefor test instruction draw up and test issue troubleshooting, test dataanalysis, and test process optimization;
Supportcontrol tuning and performance calibration
Qualification & Experience:
?Product Verification and Validation Management- Coordinates the development of design verification and system validationplans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes while managing riskand relative priority; evaluates analytical and experimental test resultsfollowing engineering principles to verify that products meet internaltechnical requirements and to validate that design solutions meet customerneeds; produces recommendations with technical documentation to support productdecisions.
?Product Problem Solving - Solves productproblems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignablecause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies thesystemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
?Analytical Modeling and TestIntegration/Optimization - Develops a physics-based understanding of customerduty cycles using real world collected data representative of the full range ofcustomer usage; compares analytical and experimental results and resolvesdifferences to maintain calibrated analytical models; generates experimentaltesting plans that deliver optimal analysis and test coverage.
?Product Failure Mode Avoidance - Mitigatespotential product failure modes, by identifying interfaces, functions,functional requirements, interactions, control factors, noise factors, andprioritized potential failure modes and potential failure causes for the systemof interest to effectively and efficiently improve the reliability of Cummins’products.
?System Requirements Engineering - Usesappropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiablerequirements to which designs are developed; establishes acceptance criteriafor the system of interest through analysis, allocation and negotiation; tracksthe status of requirements throughout the system lifecycle; assesses the impactof changes to system requirements on project scope, schedule, and resources;creates and maintains information linkages to related artifacts.
?Product Interface Management and Integration -Identifies and analyzes the interfaces and interactions across systemboundaries by specifying the requirements and limits to ensure that the productmeets requirements; controls the interactions across the system elementboundaries by making sure that they remain within specified limits; integratessystem elements by creating an integration plan, including identification ofmethod and timing for each activity to make it easier to find, isolate,diagnose, and correct.

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls orsanctions regulations.
Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent workexperience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated trackrecord of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge ofMS Office tools is preferred.

发动机事业部
发动机事业部生产和经销功率范围宽广的柴油和天然气发动机以及相应的零部件产品,用于汽车、工业和发电设备等领域。康明斯发动机排量2.8~91立升,功率范围覆盖60~3500马力,广泛应用于重型卡车、中型卡车、巴士、房车、轻型商用汽车和皮卡车等公路用车辆,以及工程机械、矿山设备、农业机械、船舶和铁路等非公路领域。

电力事业部
康明斯电力事业部是全球发电系统及其相关零部件产品和服务的领先供应商,产品用于备载电力、分布式发电以及移动设备上的辅助电源,能够满足客户多方位的电力需求。该部门还提供包括长期运营和维护协议、交钥匙工程以及临时电源在内的全方位服务和电力解决方案。
电力事业部的产品线包括柴油和代用燃料发电机组(2.5千瓦 ~ 2.7兆瓦)、交流发电机(0.6 kva ~ 30,000 kva)、机组用发动机、控制系统、转换开关(40 amps ~ 3,000 amps)和开关柜等,广泛用于办公楼宇、医院、工厂、市政、发电厂、大学、娱乐休闲车辆、游艇和家庭电源等领域。
分销事业部
分销事业部由17家康明斯独资分销商和15家合资分销商组成,网络覆盖全球70多个国家和地区的300多个地点,为全球客户提供康明斯产品、零部件和售后服务。
透过康明斯全球分销服务体系,受过专门训练的康明斯服务人员为客户提供全方位的零件和服务支持。

康明斯滤清系统(原弗列加)
柴油和燃气发动机空气、燃油、液压油和润滑油滤清器,以及各种化学添加剂。
康明斯涡轮增压技术系统(原霍尔塞特)
三升以上柴油和天然气发动机的全系列涡轮增压器及相关产品,主要应用于全球商用车辆和工业市场。
康明斯排放处理系统
中重型柴油机排气催化净化系统及相关产品,业务主要包括为主机厂新机型配套和对在用车辆进行改造。其主要产品包括整体式催化净化系统、后处理系统专用零部件以及为发动机厂商提供系统集成服务。
康明斯燃油系统
8升至78升排量范围的柴油机燃油系统。
植根中国 共创辉煌
康明斯与中国的历史渊源可以追溯到半个多世纪前的1940年代。1941年3月11日,美国总统弗兰克林•罗斯福签署《租借法案》,向包括中国在内的38个国家提供战时援助。《租借法案》对华军援物资中就包括配备康明斯发动机的江防巡逻艇和军用卡车。
1944年末,一家重庆企业致函康明斯公司,寻求建立商业联系,在中国进行康明斯发动机的本地化生产,时任康明斯发动机公司总经理埃尔文•米勒在回函中对此表示了浓厚的兴趣,希望中日战争结束后康明斯能够在华建厂。由于众所周知的原因,米勒先生的想法只能等到三十年后的1970年代,伴随着中美关系的逐步缓和,才有望变为现实。
康明斯及其关联子公司在华累计投资超过10亿美元,作为中国柴油机行业***的外商投资者,康明斯与中国的商业联系始于1975年,时任康明斯董事长埃尔文•米勒先生首次访问北京,成为***来华寻求商业合作的美国企业家之一。1979年中美建交,中国对外开放伊始,***康明斯驻华办事处就在北京成立。
