Job Description:
1- Reporting directly to vice president for marketing, the manager will be based in Shanghai and will be responsible for overall trade and consumer marketing for Century Tours' Outbound Travel Business.
2- She/He will be in charge of Brand building for Century Tours and its products/destinations;
3- Supporting sales and product development thrusts through packaging, research and launch activities;
4- Calendar planning for annual and seasonal branding and promotion activities;
5- Communicating and coordinating with representatives of tourism associations and partners in China and at the destinations for joint promotions;
6- Communication and coordinating with executives and marketing representatives of hotels and tour providers in the destination
Qualifications:
1- Must have minimum solid 3 years working experience in managing marketing function for an OUTBOUND TRAVEL related business.
2- Job experience must be continuous in 1 or 2 companies and not only for a few months (no job hoppers);
3- University level education in marketing, tourism or related fields
4- Energetic and loves to travel
5- Ability to effectively develop, execute and articulate/present marketing objectives, plans and budgets to stakeholders
6- Well versed and experienced in b2b and b2c marketing strategies and tools especially web 2.0
7- Must be knowledgeable of selling processes of traditional and online travel agents
8- Must have experience in organizing trade and media events
9- Must be creative and able to work very well with artists, writers, production crew and advertising companies in generating and producing concepts for marketing materials
10- Must know how to write editorial pieces fluently in Mandarin;
11- Can speak and write English very well
12- Skills in effective management of people and other resources and in coordinating with different departments in accomplishing projects.
