Recently Aichina Auto group has 2 commodity supervisor positions need to be hired.Here is the R&R .Pls note the qualified candidate must has engineering background.
Commodity supervisor-stamping
Commodity supervisor-Casting

Job Purpose: Sourcing qualified parts required to support Company Asia operation timely and meet company financia
budget.
Commodity Strategies
Conduct periodic commodity strategy reviews
Introduce new technology ideas / new suppliers to Company;
Conduct periodic commodity strategies;
Introduce new technology ideas / new suppliers to Company;
Evaluate potential new suppliers for commercial viability;
Determine long-term suppliers;
Establish key supplier criteria
Develop sourcing strategy to support product manufacturing and financial objectives
Lead commodity team review of sources to add or delete
Inform Preprogram, Program Buyer, ASD Engineer, Current Model & Transaction Buyer and CBG on key information in strategies which will be used in activities.
Sourcing Selection
Supplier commercial analysis
Send RFQ's to preferred suppliers based on Commodity Strategy
Conduct analysis on supplier quotes based on pricing, quality, delivery and commercial ratings
Add / remove suppliers from the NO QUOTE list
Visit and assess potential suppliers
Make-Buy Participation
Send RFQ's to preferred suppliers based on Commodity Strategy
Conduct analysis on supplier quotes based on pricing, quality, delivery and commercial ratings
Provide pricing and source recommendation based on analysis to CBG/MBO
Productivity Negotiations
Negotiate annual price reductions with current production suppliers to support
materials budget
On-Line Bidding Events
Include preferred suppliers based on Commodity Strategy in the on-line event
Conduct analysis on supplier quotes based on pricing, quality, delivery and commercial ratings
Service Pricing & Fullfillment at time of Award
Negotiate service pricing per Company Terms & Conditions at time of business award
Directed Supplier Management
Reconcile discrepancies with Directed Source between customer and Company commitments (including productivity and any violations of Company Terms & Conditions)
Manage overall relationship with Directed Source
Maintain Technical/Commercial Ratings in Reportcard
Gather data to assess supplier performance based on appropiate indicators
Develop ratings with cross functional Commodity Strategy Team
Report ratings to Materials Management IT Systems for publication in Reportcard
Maintain ratings and update bi-annually
Negotiate Disputed Obsolescence Costs
Verify supplier's claim is within material authorizations given by Company
Verify supplier's claim is justified from a dollar perspective (pricing matches with contract)
Initiate meeting with MP&L personnel at the appropiate plant
Negotiate best outcome for Company
Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor or above degree in technical or automotive, electronicspreferred;
Rich experience (4 year+) in metal(stamping or casting)commodity strategy sourcing, program management in multi-national company;
Strong leadership capability, team work and result focus oriented;
Strong English communication and PC skill required.
