Overview of Job Function:

BEST Beijing Material Planner plays a significant role in the master scheduling, manufacturing planning and execution process by managing and executing the timely creation, release, and kitting of production work orders. Ensures the steady flow of materials into production necessary to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, and also ensure the product can be delivered on time.

Uses SAP ERP planning system to create sales orders, production work orders and analyze production work orders for work order variances and perform cost. Tracks, report, analyze, and help to resolve all production work order variances and current or future material shortages.

Use best practices and policies to develop business processes and procedures to make master planning, production planning, materials requirements planning, and make sure them more accurate, efficient, and predictable.

Take responsibility of material control including placing inter-company PO and tracking the delivery of materials.

Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

1.Work with Sales Ops, SCM and MFG to make the master schedule.

2.Management of all activity associated with production work orders (creating, releasing, scheduling, roll up, reconciling and closing).

3.Work order scheduling through the management of work order start and completion dates.

4.Provides work order kitting schedules and priorities to stock room.

5.Manage and update work order material requirements based on re-work / conversion requirements, and engineering and production changes

6. Works with production to establish daily and weekly production schedules.

7.Managing, processing, and transacting in SAP all materials on the production floor for work orders, KAN BANs, and free stock.

8.Tracking and reporting material shortages. May prepare reports as requested by management.

9.Evaluate and analyze MRP output to ensure the correct material is driven, ordered, issued, and available in production to support the master production schedule.

10.Manages personal time and resources efficiently to complete assigned projects accurately and on time.

11.Place order with supplier, our company in US or Dorn. Coordinate with their buyer, shipping team to make sure the delivery on time and doc. correct.

12.Update the ETA of materials and Check the Material kitting rate.

Minimum Requirements:

1.2 to 5 years’ experience in material planning, production scheduling and floor control.

2.Above average knowledge of SCM and manufacturing processes.

3.Advanced knowledge of SAP Production & Planning, Purchasing Module and other interfacing SAP Modules.

4.Advanced understanding of planning parameters, order modifiers, and data integrity as it relates MRP planning systems master data.

5.Above average analytical skills with Excel sheet.

6.Advanced ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of task to ensure timely completion.

7.Ability to effectively communicate cross functionally across a wide variety of internal customers.

8.BS degree or equivalent work experience in material planning, production planning, and floor control.

Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements:

? Successful completion of required Safety training.

? Ensure equipment and machines are maintained in safe operating condition.

? Report to the Safety Officer any unsafe or unhealthy condition which cannot be corrected.

? Follow all safety and health regulations and work practices, including personal protective equipment where applicable.
