Title:

Associate Director, Total Reward, Greater China



Position Purpose:


  • Supports the design and use of compensation tools, structure, processes, and resources to enhance CSL global compensation and team capabilities.

    Provides compensation consultation to client leaders and HR Business Partners on job evaluations, compensation packages, and compensation strategy.

  • Through understanding of benefit programs in China and other APAC countries to ensure compliance with federal, state, local and foreign tax laws and regulations; and manage large, complex projects.

  • Ability to understand, manage, and interpret polices related to compensation and benefit programs.

Ideal Candidate:

You should have solid experience in Compensation & Benefits in MNC; you should have strong communication skill both in English and Chinese.

You should have experience in working in a matrixed environment; and experience in supporting other countries will be a plus;

It will be plus if you have strong leadership.

Job Responsibilities:



    • Responsible for managing CSL Behring compensation operations including design and communication of compensation guidelines and processes, acquisition and analysis of market data and compensation policy. Provides global support for compensation tools, and processes. Additionally the role provides support and guidance on the use of job evaluation methodology and is actively involved in evaluation of senior roles.

    • Builds tools, structure, processes, and resources to enhance the CSL Behring global compensation and benefits team capabilities specific to APAC regional countries

    • Supports and maintains the CSL Behring global compensation survey library to ensure access to current and relevant competitive market comparison. Acts as a liaison to third party survey vendors. Leads the selection and interaction with local providers of market data.

    • Administers, and communicates compensation and benefits programs including the annual merit review cycle, incentive compensation, sales compensation, employee share plans and long-term incentives. This includes high-level project management, partnering with appropriate internal and external resources, and ensuring that projects are on-time and on-budget, while achieving desired goals and objectives.

    • Provide advanced compensation and benefits consultation to client leaders and HR Business Partners on job evaluations, senior management compensation packages, compensation strategy. Work with HRIS (information systems) and HRSC (service center) functions to ensure that total remuneration is positioned appropriately versus the competitive market.

    • Understand and facilitate outsourced benefits administration working through both internal and external call center support model.

      Job Requirements

    • Bachelor degree required; Master degree preferred

    • 8-10 years' experience related to compensation and benefits area, proven track record to drive compensation & benefit projects in China (and in the Asia countries), able to provide practical total reward solutions for people/organization topics

    • Profound knowledge of China compensation and benefit policies, practices, market trends, etc.

    • Comfortable to work with three pillar HR operation model and matrix organization

    • Experience related to international (APAC) HR preferred

    • Project management & consulting experience preferred
