职位描述

JOB Summary

The Product Application Engineer maintains responsibility for assigned programs from inception through the end of service life.

Job Responsibility
1. Responsible for the product file including 3D and 2D drawings, simulations, DFMEA, DFMA, DVP&R, BOM, engineering timeline including action plans for issue resolution and product validation, etc...
2. Direct CAD designers in the development of details and assembly math data / drawings to ensure the design meets the program requirements.
3. Direct Test Engineers/Technicians in the development of the Design and Process Validation Plans.
4. Direct the manufacture, assembly and validation of prototype parts and approved them before shipment.
5. Communicate design changes to the program team.
6. Release drawings / math data to suppliers for the manufacture of tooling, prototypes, components and assembly aids associated with the program.
7. Release drawings / math data to the customer that meets the individual customer's standards.
8. Make recommendations for improvement to the program team and the customer to continuously drive towards lower cost and increased quality within the required timing.
9. Interface with other Development groups (Components, Materials, Process and Systems) to ensure the provision of the technologies required to support the program and promote standardization of components and procedures.
10. Support customer's environmental trips (hot and cold) for assigned programs.
11. Organize GD&T reviews with team members
12. Support and follow the Inergy quality system.

Qualification
1. Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical),
2. Three years working experience in automobile industry, Fuel System Design Preferred
3. Basic understanding of the capabilities of common CAE systems (Unigraphics, SDRC I-DEAS, Catia, ABAQUS, etc.).
4. knowledge of DFMA, DFMEA, PFMEA Basics and QS-9000 and ISO/TS procedures
5. Good English verbal and written communication skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
6. Willing to travel
