SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE AND COMPONENTS ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
1.The System Architecture and Components Engineer support the activities of his department and its development engineers, if any.
2.He has to ensure that the technical content of our fuel systems is being developed to support new and future customer requirements. He has to work within project constraints (time, cost and quality).
3.Must provide support in the field of design, validation and manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The System Architecture and Components Engineer is responsible for some of the developments going on in this department and:
Develop and maintain Inergy's expertise for components and fuel system with a global spectrum.
After common understanding with PAE of the program constraints (time, specification, cost, quality), he is responsible for the development and the validation of the requested components.
Follow carefully worldwide regulations, specifications, etc...
Share technical information within the R&D department and with other Inergy centers, support the synergy relevant groups.
In charge of patent related activity.
Minimize complexity across all platforms and customer centers.
Support the RFQ process and the research of new suppliers in conjunction with Purchasing.
Support the development of design guidelines and best practices, global Synergy team and KM, drive bench marking activity.
Propose ways to reduce cost, time and improve the product final quality.
Manage technical relation with assign OEM, convince them of Inergy leadership, and feedback IAS of customer's positions.
Standardize working procedure with other Inergy centers.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
Must successfully complete all Inergy required training.
Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures.
Support and follow the Inergy quality system
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE
1. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
2. Excellent problem-solving skills
3. Good understanding of quality process and tools
4. Very good knowledge of Fuel System Design
5. Ability to read engineering drawings.
6. Basic understanding of the capabilities of common CAE systems.
7. Basic understanding of common metrology techniques used in manufacturing and laboratory environments.
8. Computer proficient (MS Office and Project).
9. Ability to analyze data.
