Position Description
Purpose of the Position:
? Severe competition in existing display environment, panel makers are making strong effort in developing innovative display product while making inroads into new business area (healthcare, smart system, semi-conductor etc.)
? To maintain strategic partnership, and continue successful business momentum, it's necessary to create a role focusing on technical collaboration on new product/technologies with key customers.
? Primary benefits can be:

Day to Day Responsibilities:
? Support business strategy
o Track tech-trend/plan (display, non-display) of key customers in China.
o Track competitor movement, and offerings.
o Participate industry conference, seminars to learn technology trend.
? Seek new product/technology opportunities
o Serve as key liaison btw customer R&D and Corning internal functions (commercial technology, RD&E, program team.)
o Strong desire and ability to work with customers and turn their needs into actionable plans.
o Work closely with TE director, account managers and Corning internal functions to confirm value proposition of Corning solution, and evaluate business opportunities in terms of product, market, process capability.
o Timely respond and manage customer's request by leveraging internal resources.
o Lead promotion of Cornings technology advantages and capabilities.
? Assist program lead for joint-development programs
o Devise Corning's solution, conduct customer specification reviews.
o Facilitate internal/external communication, ensure project milestone, objective achieved.
o Resolve relevant issues (commercial, technical.)
? Build solid R&D level relationship
o Lead different level communication btw customer R&D, and Corning internal functions, cultivate strong tech relationship with customers and drive internal alignment.
o Clear understanding of customer Org-chart
establish strong connection with R&Ds.
o Continually look for ways to increase customer satisfaction.
Education &
职位要求：
Experience
? Work experience in a role working with customer, and requiring extensive quantitative analysis, data interpretation and B2B technical sales/service experience is required.
? Working experience in global company.
? Experience in new product development, or project management, business development or evaluation of new technologies.
? Bachelor/Master in semiconductor, electronics, chemistry, precision instruments, mechanical engineering, material sciences or glass science, optics, physics
doctoral degree is a plus.
? 5-8years of working experience in electronic, semi-conductor, and display industry
>1year of R&D experience is a plus.
Required Skills
? Fluent in English, Chinese.
? Ability to interact effectively with customer R&D in different levels.
? Ability to build up network in display, semi-conductor industry.
? Ability to work and communicate in different cultures.
? Deal with tasks with sense of urgency.
? Flexibility to work on multiple projects with ability to multi-tasks.
? Ability to envision technical market trends and build appropriate roadmaps.
? Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
? Proficient Microsoft office package.
Desired Skills
? Sound knowledge for display technologies (LCD, OLED, QLED, microLED) and semi-conductor, sensors industry.
? Extensive knowledge of customer's manufacturing process, glass property and their interaction.
? Business savvy.
