Day to Day Responsibilities:

MRO parts, maintenance services and other commodities sourcing, negotiation, purchasing and expediting 

Inventory MRO parts master data set-up in SAP System, requisition loading and inventory management (sharing/reduction) and back up for MRO planning and replenishment

Cross function work with technology/production engineering on parts specification, duplicate inventory integration and safety inventory review

Coordinate with local/oversea suppliers/sister plants to maintain reasonable inventory for MRO parts;

Follow Corning competitive bidding process to ensure reasonable price for all purchasing;

Manage suppliers’ performance on delivery, quality, cost and service

Support warehouse on physical goods/ERP system receiving and payments issue;

Achieve cost saving goals based on company strategy; 

Education & Experience 

Bachelor Degree, major in business administration, Engineer or other related

3-5 years’ experience in MRO purchasing & inventory management area 

Required Skills 

MRO Inv. management/ Purchasing experiences in a multinational company

Negotiation skill

Sourcing experiences

Fluent English in oral and written

Soft Skills 

Customer Focus

Flexibility/Organized/Patient 

Good communication Skills

Positive working attitude
