Core Accountabilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provide accurate oral and written English/Chinese translation service of project, especially for machine installation and commissioning on site;
2. Provide administrative support to foreign project managers when necessary, e.g. travel arrangement for tickets and Hotel, working permit etc.;
3. Fulfill the translation and documentation tasks assigned by line manager, ensure daily operation translation needs from each department handle on time, in quality;
4. English translation Proof-reading and quality control of out-sourcing translation;
5. Administrative support in MD & Project Office when necessary;
6. Others.

Qualifications

Required:

Education and/or Experience

· University / College degree or above , major in English or technical engineering
· 4+ years English/Chinese translation experience both in oral and written, with heavy machine industrial sector or project supporting experience preferred, technical background is a plus.
· With foreign invested company working experience
· Oversea study or working experience preferred

Language Skills
· Professional English and Mandarin language skills, accurate understanding and excellent translation quality

Other Skills and Abilities
· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
· Focus on work, down-to-earth, with active working attitude and pleasant character
· Team player and may work under pressure
