职位描述
Primary Responsibilities:
The position is responsible for deploying the Garrett Excellence Model (GEM) in SHA plant and aligned with achieving performance results expectations. Responsible for providing guidance and direction related to implementation of the GEM OTC through all phases. Drives Continuous Improvement at the site level to affect SQDIC metrics and goals in an accelerated fashion.
Lead all activities to implement the SIF (Standard Implementation Framework) at the site or in preparation for eventual implementation with a focus on pre-implementation foundational work.
Work with and influencing plant Leadership team, work with regional GEM teams to develop overall GEM plan. Coach and mentor Site cross function team in the GEM principles and practices
Drive strategic thinking of leadership to achieve sustainable GEM implementation within assigned area of responsibility. Participate and leading SDP (strategy deployment plan) in SHA plant.
Closely monitor GEM performance and maturity scorecards and develop actions to address performance gaps and accelerate improvements
Drive active knowledge sharing among and between sites, to drive continuous improvement of the operating system, spend a significant amount of time on the shop floor supporting the execution of lean strategies, teaching, coaching and acting as a champion of lean within the business
Roll out the digitization road map at the sites with alignment to the process orientation and operational excellence
Coaching SV & operation team about basic & fundamental lean knowledge, give the tools and monitor kaizen events project deployment in shop floor to drive variable cost productivity
Respect the duties and responsibilities for health, safety and environmental protection specified in HSE documents.
Qualifications Required:
Must have 7+ years of manufacturing experience in automotive industry / highly recommend to have cross-functional ISC / SSP experience which includes manufacturing, materials management, quality and process improvements.
Must have experience in lean implementation and working knowledge of lean manufacturing and six sigma strategies and principles.
Must be a proven/experienced & working knowledge of Toyota Production System
Must have significant cycles of learning & conducting Kaizen events
Must be results oriented with history of getting breakthrough results through the implementation of lean tools Skills
Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills
Must have project management experience skills.
Strong analytical / problem solving skills.
Ability to motivate and energize others, to think analytically and critically.
Good command of English skill (spoken / written)
