职位描述

Mission
The Project Cost Manager (RCP), assistant of the Project Manager and by delegation of the Project Manager, is responsible to reach the project economic objectives as PRF and time expenditure (= ? dépenses ponctuelles ?). He is also responsible for the carry over and diversity objectives by leading the actions necessary to their establishment, their consolidation and their piloting.

Responsabilities
- Ensure the establishment and the update of the economic situation of the project (PRF, time expenditure and profitability) by guaranteeing the origin, the quality and the consistency of the data,
- Pilot the product/process economic optimization with the people concerned from the partner directions (DP, PDTM, ITVC, MTOC...),
- Pilot the optimization of the vehicle diversity,
- Ensure the annual budget control of the project as a person in charge of the expenditure directly assigned to the Project,
- Implement, in the Project, the experience feedback (RETEX) of the cost field, and provide it to the core team in charge of the the capitalization of the best practices,
- Guarantee the quality of the economic data transfer to the Mass Production Direction and allow the Mass Production Cost Manager the starting of his activity under the best conditions,
- According to the size of the Project, manage operationally the Costs & Diversity Pilots.


Main activities
The Vehicle RCP is hierarchically attached to the PVAS Core Team and operationally attached to the Project Manager. The activities field is:

1 Economic situation establishment of the project,

- Guarantee the origin, the quality and the consistency of the data used for the calculation of the PRF assessment,
- Constitute and update the wallet of PRF opportunities & risks, and calculate the PRF potential,
- Calculate the amount in RMB of the resources and prototypes, starting from the data assessed by the Project Planning Manager,
- Calculate the amount in RMB of the DPV transitory expenses, starting from the data established by the CPLI of the project
- Calculate the amount in RMB of other time expenditure (investments, launching expenses...) by guaranteeing the origin, the quality and the consistency of the data used
- Constitute and update the wallet of the time expenditure opportunities and risks,
- Establish the economic chapter of the milestones

2 Piloting of the project economic optimization of the project,

- Contribute, during the convergence phase, to the definition of robust global economic objectives:
o Animate the assessment of the product and industrial scénarii (time expenditure, PRF, failure and guarantee cost),
o Take part in the development of the economic studies then exploit the data and the results.
- Pilot the implementation of the Economical Optimization Approach (DOE) within the project
o Prepare and update the economical optimization plan of the project
o Propose to the project manager a distribution of the economical objectives to the actors concerned
o Pilot the realization of the action plan resulting from the economical optimization plan the project
- Pilot the implementation of the carry over plan within the project to reduce the expenditure amount.

3 Optimization of the project diversity

- Establish the project forecast assessment compared to the objectives
- Work out and update the wallet of diversity risks/opportunities
- Consolidate the economic impact of this wallet and deduce from it a diversity action plan which also optimizes the economic situation of the project
- Control the execution of this action plan

4 Management of the annual project budget

- Work out the budget structure of the project (definition of the animation centers).
- Prepare each year the budget framing of the expenditure directly assigned to the project
- Ensure the follow-up of this expenditure (realized compared to the budget) and work out the annual forecasts

5 Lesson Leaned (RETEX)

- Use on the project the RETEX available, in particular through the cartography Costs and Diversity
- Establish the RETEX of the different phases of the Project, in order to transmit the good practices but also the difficulties which it could be met.
- Be involved in the collective meetings of the RCP in order to share his experience.

6 Mass production opening of the project

- With the Project Purchasing Manager cooperation, establish the Mass Production Price /Forecast Price connection, by guaranteeing a satisfactory rate of mass production price,
- Ensure the inventory of the investment budget spent / to be spend and prepare the transfer of the data to the mass production team,
- Establish and update a wallet of PRF opportunities and risks post JOVS, starting from the knowledge acquired on the vehicle by the members of the Project team,
- Prepare the mass production data passage for the Mass Production Cost Manager.

7 Operational Management of the Cost and Diversity Pilots

According to the size of the project, the Project Costs Manager can have to manage operationally one or more pilots, provided by the Project Core Assistance Team.


Qualifications
- 5 - 8 years automotive engineering and product development related experience
- 3 years plus direct Project Cost Manager or Project Management experience with MNO or tier one suppliers
- Experienced in automotive product development processes and associed cost & time expenditure
- Engineering degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, and business management or related fields, Master degree or MBA plus
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with motivation, can work independently with limited supervision,
- Fluent English in oral and writing, French capable big plus
- TOEIC is preferred
