Mission:
Working for the Project manager, the powertrain project costs manager is responsible for all economical aspects of the project, in the field of the job share that has been defined between local project and Europe.

Major Responsibilities:
1.Evaluate and master unit costs and development costs for the project :
- During construction of the project, he contributes to define robust financial targets for the project.
- He drives the financial convergence and masters development and investment costs (resources, prototypes costs, external developments, launching costs, cooperation costs if any, investments costs). He ensures availability of the budgets for the project from PSA (and partner if any) project owner.
He allocates, financial targets to project team members and assures their contractualisation. He defines and contracts unit part price targets with purchase department, added value and investments targets with production department.
- He validates and finances all project costs
- He measures, analyzes and reports on progress and economic outcomes of the project (bill of material, price transferring to production, controlling costs, consequences of technical changes in development assumptions, milestones economic issues...).
- He builds and manages the risk and opportunities roadmaps (Ensuring their identification at the earliest, contains risks and controls the implementation of opportunities).
- He reacts at all identified overrun, defines and implements action plans to recover targets.
- He ensures the transfer of technical and economic issues to the serial life
- He ensures the enrichment of practices and process feedback, and accumulation of best practices.
2.Ensure the financial relationship with the partner in projects in cooperation or joint venture:
- He sizes and negotiates the economic variables (PRF, expenses) for the economic scope of the partner (writing the chapters of financial contracts)
- He Identifies, builds and mediates solutions to the maximum synergies in order to achieve scale economies.
- He builds and comments on the financial reports for the partner
- He defines and reaches agreement on invoiced amount to the partner
- He validates invoices amounts from the partner
- He establishes and negotiates with the partner the specific sharing rules applicable for the project
- He Identifies within the cooperation all best practices able to enrich PSA practices, and implement them (Benchmarking).

Qualifications:
- 5 - 8 years automotive engineering and product development related experience
- 3 years plus direct Project Cost Manager or Project Management experience in the engine and/or the gear pox perimeter
- Experienced in automotive product development processes and associated cost & time expenditure
- Engineering degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, and business management or related fields, Master degree or MBA plus
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- High integrity with motivation, can work independently with limited supervision,
- Fluent English in oral and writing, French capable big plus
- TOEIC is preferred
