MISSIONS:

1- bring nonmetallic materials skills (thermoplastics, thermosets, rubbers, decorations, ...) support to help designers, either for interior or exterior vehicles projects or engines projects, to develop optimized parts in terms of Quality, Costs, Lead times, Performances.
2- Lead the implementation and updates of PSA Technical References for polymers (core competences) in relation with PSA France and Chinese JVs.



RESPONSABILITIES:

Projects:
- write or update materials technical specifications before RFQ release,
- check the material and process definition (drawing, RFQ),
- check the supplier offer and provide material and process inputs for RCT during the supplier choice step,
- participate to the supplier evaluation capability and report the supplier risks,
- participate to the supplier material and process validation at the early stage of project development,
- help to solve material and process problems the supplier could encountered (contribution to the qualification of the process of the supplier)
- make the PSA standards applied and sometimes write local standards (if it's necessary)

Core business:
- capitalize and structure knowledge on materials and processes in the field of flat metallic products (core competences). Make this knowledge progressing while localizing or integrating innovative solutions.
- Manage suppliers technological developments (new grades, new processes, ...) and manage their implementation on vehicles with th JVs.



QUALIFICATIONS:

- Core competences focused on thermoplastic and thermoset materials and their main technologies (injection, extrusion, decorations, paintings, ...)
- As he will be the main "flat metallic products skill" for projects and design teams, the applicant must be able to take into account many subjects on various non metallic products fields (materials approvals, parts design robustness, technical audits, laboratories tests, simulations, ...)

- 1st experience in a tier 1 for plastic parts (in China or abroad)
- Able to make his own proposals, bring new ideas.
- Good team worker and open minded people to be able to work with a lot of component designers and counterpart in PSA and its JVs
- Reactivity and capacity to work with short times
- Able to delegate and control
- Good knowledge of the standards and testing methods
- Good English level. Speaking French will be a very distinctive point
- Good communication skills
- TOEIC is preferred
