As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Industrial Automation Business and Marine & Ports Business Line (BL) based in Chongqing. ABB is the World leader in Industrial Automation (IA) division delivers integrated solutions for control, plant optimization, and industry-specific application knowledge and services to help process industry customers worldwide to meet their critical business needs in the areas of operational profitability, capital productivity, risk management and global responsibility. These industries include oil and gas, power, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pulp and paper, metals, cement, minerals, marine and turbocharging.

You will be a vital member of the Procurement & Logistics team within the Propulsion Products Product Group/ Marine & Ports Business Line (BL) / Industrial Automation Business in Chongqing /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the SCM, you will support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics activities.

? Market research for capable suppliers and select the most suitable supplier as the supply source.
? Execute the sourcing strategy.
? Obtain quotations and make quotation analysis, negotiate best terms and conditions for the materials in charged.
? Establish partnership with key suppliers, establish long term supply agreement for key materials with key suppliers.
? The owner for supplier's overall performance, monitor supplier's performance and drive continuous improvement actions.
? Market research for the market trend and price indexes to support the sourcing actions.
? Secure the supplier long term capacity for company need.
? Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.

? Bachelor’s Degree, major in Mechanical Engineering Automation field.
? 5+ years of Sourcing or Purchase experience in heavy industry.
? Hands-on sourcing experience in Bearings, Shaft seals, Planetary gears, machining or other heavy machinery components.
? Previous working experience within marine industry, such as shipyard, marine design house and marine equipment suppliers provides advantages.
? Be familiar with international trade business.
? Fluent in oral and written English.
